PRODUCT OVERVIEW |
Between 36-55% to Portland cement clinker; It is a hydraulic binder obtained by grinding together additives such as pozzolan, fly ash, blast furnace slag, silica fume, limestone, cooked shale and some set regulating gypsum (CaSO4.2H2O). High resistance against sulfate and acid attacks, high performance against sulfated, chlorinated, carbonated, thermal waters and sea waters. It performs very well against the expansion that may occur in the concrete due to the alkali silica reaction. Its composition: [% 50 Portland Cement Clinker + % 40 Natural Pozzolana (Trass) + % 5 Limestone] + % 5 Gypsum |

GENERAL USE |
It is in the category of cements with additives according to TS EN 197-1:2011 standard, it is the cement preferred in standard quality concretes and structures. It is especially preferred in applications such as plaster, mortar, screed applications, construction and repair operations, and concrete works in sulfate-containing environments. Bims increases the quantity obtained thanks to its low density in plaster-mortar productions, and contributes to the workability in ready-mixed concrete productions. Long-term strength increase continues with natural pozzolan content. It is supplied to the market as packaged. |
